Newbie to the sport?
One of our Learn to Row programs will help you find your river-legs and provide you with the basics to get out on the water as soon as possible. The Learn2Row courses for the 2009-2010 summer season are now fully booked - the next Learn2Row courses will be run in October 2010.
Or do you have a bit of experience?
WARC has three tiers of squad training, from the open grades to first-year rowers. All squads have set days and train between two and five mornings a week.
The first port of call for all rowers looking to join the club is captain Glenda Hirsch who will be able to talk you through the ins and outs of joining WARC and how best to get out on the water.
New rowers are able to row ($30 per month) as casual members for a short time before there is any commitment to join the club and we have a range of membership options, from competitive to recreational.
